Webinar: Protecting Your Mental Health

This month, we want to create a space to discuss the nuances around mental health, and to generate conversations about the importance of prioritizing one’s mental health. In this webinar, we will hear from two amazing speakers about their work, and their own personal mental health stories. Join us to learn about some Canadian-based mental health resources that folks can use to their advantage when seeking support on their mental health journey.

Lee Weiler, Community Outreach Liaison
As Next Gen Men’s Community Liaison, Lee leverages his joy for building relationships to connect with Alberta organizations that are working with men and boys in social or relational contexts.
Lee is the consummate ‘Jack-of-all-trades’ and enjoys nothing more than picking up new skills every chance he gets. He has an Honours degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics and has undertaken graduate studies in Public Policy and Administration. Over the past 16 years, Lee worked at the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government, then took a hard ‘left’ and became a human-centered and systemic design consultant and founded a company with his partner called Raising Giants.
Soni Dasmohapatra
Soni Dasmohapatra has worked with various organisations to develop social innovation methods and supports individuals with designing wellness in their day to day practice. She is a consultant who works with individuals, groups, public service institutions and community agencies to facilitate the development of tools that focus on building inclusive platforms that incorporate strategy, design, wellness and art for transformative change.
